The best way to learn more about Lost Creek is to dive in. Anyone is welcome to contribute to our efforts to serve our communities. We are made up of many people with different backgrounds, interests, gifts, and skills. We actively empower our congregation to go forth into the world and serve with the gifts and skills that they possess. There is something for everyone! Serve at Lost Creek

This is not a comprehensive list of opportunities, but rather a few highlights of needs that are always there in our church!

Food Ministries

One of our passions is helping feed the hungry and the community. We offer weekly community meals at Oak Park, cook meals for the OSU Wesley Foundation and for the homebound, and participate in the Rise Against Hunger campaign during Lent.

Sunday Volunteers

Volunteers play a big role during Sundays at Lost Creek! You can help be a door greeter, a scripture reader, participate in the choir, or help us with sound and video if that is your passion! All it takes is a warm heart and a smile!

Oak Park

Our 11-acre property in Perkins requires a large volunteer base to operate. We are always in need of helping hands to keep the grounds, clean up before and after events, and to help with laundry and other general upkeep.

How do I volunteer?

Volunteering at Lost Creek is easy! You can go to our 'Events' page to see what opportunities are coming soon, or fill out the form below to inform us of an opportunity to serve that we may have missed!

How do we ensure safety at Lost Creek?

We adhere to the Safe Sanctuaries program of the United Methodist Church. Ministries involving children, youth, or vulnerable adults require a background check. Fill out the form below for more information.

Do I have to be a member of Lost Creek to volunteer?

The answer is... no! We have many volunteers for our ministries in the community who are from surrounding churches or just people who want to make a difference. Everyone is welcome and affirmed in their willingness to serve!

What if I have a great idea for a new ministry or mission?
