Mission & Vision

The vision of Lost Creek United Methodist Church is to deepen meaningful relationships with Jesus Christ through our ministries. While our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ, our vision is what guides that mission.

The mission of Lost Creek United Methodist is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. This statement comes from the United Methodist Book of Discipline, and we believe it is a statement that connects our congregation to the worldwide Methodist movement.

We believe that mission is contextual. That simply means mission activity at Lost Creek will look considerably different than the mission of a church located in downtown Tulsa or near the Mexican border. By localizing our mission field, we are better able to carry out our Vision and Mission within our two communities.
